C2E2 #1 _KiKi & Motorgirl & Batman 2200

This weekend marks my first artist alley comicon at C2E2 in Chicago. I'll have a lot of new art at the con & prints for sale: including Mortal Kombat, D&D & a few of my new Magic the Gathering cards.

Here's a few pieces that I did exclusively for the con.

Hey Vincent,

Made it to your blog now after a good night's sleep. Running around gathering sketches from the many talented artists there kind of wears you out during the 4 days of the C2E2.

Now to say this beforehand, normally, I wouldn't comment on blogs let alone sign up for one; however, I couldn't help to feel that this one time I really should. With that being said.

I have to repeat what I said to you before from the C2E2 convention; you are one fantastic artist, you're quite detailed and fast at doing what you do. It's rare that I see a new face in the comic illustration scene that catches my attention the way you did with your displayed work and I've been around for awhile hunting down illustrators' works for a long time, I'm glad we spent time talking as having you draw up something for my personal collection along side of different artists and their works that I've already collected, not too many make it into my collection as I'm very particular about style, detail and execution.

Hopefully, I'll get to see more of your works in the near future and hope you make it big in San Diego where more than 140,000+ people attend over the four days it runs; it's the biggest showcase in the west coast of North America with gaming, movie, comic and other professional illustrators in the industry.

Touch base with some of them, show them what you have; I'm sure they will be impressed with what you've got; I certainly was and still am!

Good Luck to you and all your future endeavors, hopefully we can meet again one day sooner than later so I can talk you into doing several commissions for me!

PS,
Don't let things get you down, it's usually a hard sell when you're new, but one day you'll be in with the big names in the industry; hopefully, you won't forget me when you do. =)

And get a big booth banner marking your booth, catch as much attention as you can, make it a one current popular character picture (like say a current superhero/ine that most people can associate with) with your name on top, make it stand out.
